Procedure to Root Pantech BURST:
- First up you need to ensure that you have installed the ADB in your computer and then download the PressToRoot files in your computer.
- Up next, connect your phone to the computer and open the command prompt in your computer by going to the desktop and then press Shift + right click to select the option of “Open Command Window here” after which the command prompt will be opened.
- In the command prompt, you need to enter the below mentioned options as mentioned in the same manner mentioned below.
adb reboot bootloader
Allow the phone to boot into the bootloader mode before entering the below command.
fastboot boot prestoroot.img
- Once the required processing is finished, the device will be rebooted and once its rebooted, pull out the connected USb cable and from the Google PLAY Store, download the latest version of Superuser application. To check whether the device is successfully rooted, you can download and install the Root Checker app from the Google PLAY Store.
Note: At any point of time just in case if the process of firmware update gets stopped due to any reason, all you need to do is restart the process from the start by re inserting the battery. Also, ensure that you are restoring the backup if any data is lost like APN Settings etc.
