Procedure to Root Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 on Gingerbread 2.3.6 Firmware:
- Download the Rooting package from here to your computer.
- Now, enable the USB Debugging Mode in the phone from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. Ensure that the USB debugging option is ticked.
- Connect your phone to the computer with the help of USB Cable and copy the downloaded Zip file to your phone. Ensure that you are not placing the file deep into your phone that is in sub folders.
- Now, you need to turn Off your phone so as to enter the phone in the recovery mode. The recovery mode can be entered by pressing “T” and simultaneously Power ON the device so as to enter the device in the recovery mode. Just in case if the device boots in the normal mode, you need to try the same again till the device is entered in the Recovery mode.
- In recovery mode, with the help of Volume rocker keys, navigate to the option “apply update from sdcard” and press the “Home” button to select the same.
- After this you will be shown all the files present in the phone, you now need to navigate to the file named as “SamsungGALAXYProRootingPACKAGE” which is the zip file which you have placed and then press the Home key again so as to select the same.
- Select the option of “++++Go back++++” and then in recovery mode select Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition and then reboot your device by selecting reboot system now option.
- Once the device is rooted successfully, you will see icons like Superuser and CWM in your phone. If you are unable to see these, then you need to download and install “Superuser” application from the Android Market Place.
