Procedure to Root Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE I727R Android Phone:
- Assuming that you have downloaded the Rooting PACKAGE for S2 LTE I727R from the last page, you now need to unzip the same. In the process of extraction, you will be prompted to enter the password, enter the password as “androidadvices.com” without inverted comas.
- Once files are extracted you will get to see many files out of which you need to open the file named as “Super One Click Root” and then you need to connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable which you got at the time of purchase.
- Now, after connecting the device you will need to click on the “Root” tab after which the process of the rooting commences and once the rooting process is done, you will be intimated with the message as the device rooted successfully as shown in the below screen capture.
- So, as soon as the phone gets successfully rooted, you will see that the phone gets rebooted on its own. Once the rooting process is finished, you will then see that there will be two applications in the phone which are the CWM as well as the Super user which will mean that the rooting process was successfully. Just in case if you are unable to see these apps then you need to again re apply the rooting process. After the process gets completed, you need to now remove the connected USB cable.
- Once you are done with the above process, you now need to proceed to download and install the latest version of ROM Manager in your phone which you can download from either Android Apps labs or from the latest version of Android Market Place 3.3.12.
- In the ROM Manager, you will find all the options to customize your phone which we will be seeing in the coming days to come.
Issues Faced in the Process of Rooting:
Problem: After the rooting process was applied, the 4 touch buttons were not functioning and solution to curb is mentioned below.Solution: All we did was just rebooted the phone manually and the issue got fixed.
