Pre Requisistes:
- Before proceeding to anything else, Download XXKPQ Rooting Package from here to your computer and in the process it gets downloaded you need to follow rest of the instructions which are mentioned below.
- Now, backup all your data as in the process of rooting there is a possibility that the data may get lost or corrupted. So, to ensure that the data is kept safe and the same can be recovered just in case if anything wrong happens to it, we have mentioned some tips below with which you can backup and restore data.
Notes – Backup in the mail so that you can then restore manually
SMS Messages – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts Stored in Phone Memory – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log – Call Log and Restore
Videos, Images, Videos & Files etc.– Copy to internal / External SD Card,
Internet & MMS Settings – Backup all the settings from “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”.
- Now, after this enable the USB Debugging Mode in your phone which you can do from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging” as shown in the below image. Close all the Security Suites, KIES PC Suite and also disable the Firewall or else these tools will interrupt the process of rooting.
