Procedure to Root ASUS Eee PAD Transformer on 9.4.2.11 Firmware:
- Download the Viper MOD Prime One Click Tool from here to your computer for Windows or Linux respectively.
- Enable USB Debugging Mode from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging. Ensure that the USB Debugging option is ticked as shown in the below screen capture.
- Extract the downloaded Viper Mod Prime tool in your computer and then you need to connect your tablet to the computer with the help of original USB cable which you got at the time of purchase.
- Once you extract the same, you will have to match all the extracted files as shown in the above screen capture. Up next from the extracted files, open “Viper Mod Prime Time v4.1” tool from here to your computer.
- Now, you will get to see the screen as shown above. Press “1” and hit on “Enter” key to root your device. So, as soon as the process is done, the device will be restarting on its ON, if not then you need to manually restart the device so that the root access is properly configured.
- In similar fashion just in case if you wished to unroot the device then you can do the same by opening the executable file and follow the on screen instructions to unroot the device.
- Once the appropriate option is processed, enter “6” and hit on “Enter” to exit and also you can now unplug the connected device from your computer.
Tip: Just in case if the device is not rooted properly, then you need to repeat the whole process again so that the device gets rooted easily.
