Samsung has announced that they are going to release the new Samsung Galaxy Express 2 Android smartphone in the UK market very soon, and this would be a very decent device with a 4.5-inch qHD display, and some mid-range specifications packed in. The announcement could be as soon as tomorrow, as Samsung is probably targeting the new Red colored HTC One Mini which is heading to the UK markets via Phones 4u stores very soon.
“Our latest addition to the Galaxy portfolio, the Galaxy Express 2 has been designed to provide a faster and smoother user experience. As with all smartphones in our Galaxy range, the Galaxy Express 2 is packed full of intuitive features and smart functions, offering customers superior performance,” said Simon Stanford, Vice President of IT & Mobile Division, Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland.
To be available at the Vodafone exclusive stores in UK, the Samsung Galaxy Express 2 comes with a PLS TFT display with the 4.5 inch screen having a 540 x 960 pixel screen resolution, and it sports a 1.7 GHz Dual-core processor with a good 1.5 GB RAM. Running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the Galaxy Express 2 would have the latest TouchWiz UI and the internal storage included in the smartphone is 8GB, with the storage expansion possible to 64GB with the MicroSD card support.
The rear side has a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with the LED flash, and on the front side, there is a VGA camera included. The battery included has a capacity of 2100 mAh, and the connectivity options that are included – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, MicroUSB, NFC and GPS. There is no confirmation whether this would have the 4G network connectivity or would be limited to the 3G connectivity.

Apart from this, we are going to see the HTC One Mini in red color, which is coming with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor at 1.4 GHz, running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and the HTC Sense 5.0 UI.
