Procedure to Update Galaxy S with Latest & Stable Juwe Custom ROM:
Assuming that you are on the Rooted XXJVT Firmware, you can proceed to apply this custom ROM firmware as its very important to be on the XXJVT Firmware as mentioned in the previous page.
- Download Juwe Custom ROM PACKAGE for Galaxy S in your computer and move the same to your phone by connecting your phone to the computer using the USB cable. Please note that you should not place the file deep into the folders as it will not be recognizing the file in further steps.
- After placing the file, turn off the phone so as to enter the device into the recovery mode.
- The recovery mode can be entered by “Pressing Volume Up key+ Menu Key + Power ON the device”. Once you enter into the recovery mode, you need to select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition” so that this will clear the cache which is there in your device.
- Now, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” after which select the Juwe Custom ROM Zip file after which the process of update will be started.
- It will take around 10 – 15 minutes for the firmware to get applied in the phone. Once the update is applied successfully the phone may get restarted or will land back to the recovery mode.
- Now, if your phone gets back to the recovery mode, you need to select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition” so that this will clear the cache after which select “++++ Go Back ++++” and select “reboot system now” which will restart the Galaxy S GT I9000 Phone.
- Just in case if the device gets into the boot loop mode then you need to again re follow the above steps to update the same.
Note: The device may take longer than expected time to boot the device and to show up the home screen as it’s the first reboot after the firmware update. Additionally, you can also apply this custom ROM firmware with the help of Clock Work mod recovery process which too is one of the simplest process to apply these custom ROMs.
