T-Mobile has just announced three affordable Android smartphones with the 4G LTE connectivity, and these include a very decent one from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Light coming with the 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with the WVGA display, having a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Although affordable, the makers and the data providers haven’t compromised with the internal specs, as the Galaxy Light is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, backed by 1GB of RAM.
The native storage included in the phone is 8GB, and there is an expansion possible to 64GB using the MicroSD card. The Galaxy Light comes with the two cameras, a 5-megapixel rear camera with the LED flash, and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. The rear camera can shoot videos at 720p resolution, and it has the autofocus and a few shooting modes.
The best part in the device is the connectivity, where T-Mobile has included a plethora of options, including the LTE network connectivity, the Wi-Fi 802.11 (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and the calling is possible through Wi-Fi. The 1800 mAh battery included in the device looks bad for the 4-inch, but we cannot say how fast the draining would be when the user is connected through the LTE networks.
The T-Mobile Simple Choice Plan with Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data is what is being offered with the smartphone. The pricing details and the contract prices are yet to be known.
