The Sprint network in U.S. is making the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0-inch version far cheaper, as the device would be available from October 11th for a contract pricing of just $49.99 and it would be with the 2-year contract. For now, it’s the White version of the tablet which is being made available for sale but later during the holidays, Samsung would be coming up even with the Midnight Black edition during the holidays.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch comes with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, and the pixel density comes out 170ppi. It sports a Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU which clocks at 1.6 GHz, along with the Adreno 305 GPU. Along with this, there is 1.5 GB of RAM which supports the multitasking, and there is a native storage of 16 GB and a MicroSD card slot can accommodate the storage to a maximum of 64 GB.
The back and front shooters include the 3-megapixel and 1.3-megapixel cameras respectively, and there is no flash support to the back camera. There’s a battery of 4000 mAh capacity included, and the Galaxy Tab 3 runs the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. This is quite a simple and traditional type of tablet devices from Samsung which doesn’t come with any extras, and does a perfect job of what an Android tablet would do. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with the Samsung for Enterprise (SAFE), which is a feature that would allow the users to use a few apps with security, and these include the browser, email, contacts etc. The features that are included in the tablet include the Group Play, which lets the tab to share content and play at the same time with the other Samsung Galaxy devices through Wi-Fi.
The Tab 3 7.0 comes with the LTE connectivity, and there is Samsung WatchON where you can use the tablet device as a remote for the TVs and DVRs. Talking about the offer, David Owens, vice president-Product Development, Sprint said:
