In the last few weeks, we have seen many leaks about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A-series tablets. Recently, few images of the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 were surfaced online giving a clear picture of how the tablet will look. Now, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) has been listed on the Poland online retailer with two different variants. The Galaxy Tab A 7.0 with model number SM-T280 is a Wi-Fi only variant while the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 with model number SM-T285 also supports 4G-LTE.

Talking about the specifications, the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) flaunts a 7-inch (1280×800 pixels) HD IPS display and offers a pixel density of 276ppi. Under the hood, it packs unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Mali-400 MP2 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM for smooth performance of the tablet. The tablet has 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card slot upto 200GB. Both the Wi-Fi and LTE variants come with connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.

On the camera front, the tablet sports a 5MP rear camera without LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie images. The tablet juices a 4000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 10 hours of video playback and 11 hours of internet usage. The LTE variant of the device also supports dual sim dual standby. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI out of the box and also has Samsung’s Kids Mode 4.0 for more educational and entertainment content for kids.

The dimensions of the device measure 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7 mm weighs around 283 grams and comes in Black and White color options. The Wi-Fi, only variant of the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016), is priced at PLN 599 (approx $150/Rs. 10,150) while the LTE variant costs PLN 799 (approx $200/Rs. 13,550). Both the versions are available for pre-order online while the shipping starts from March 8th. Stay tuned for the official announcement of the unannounced tablet in next couple of days.
