Galaxy Player 70 is the portable media player produced by Samsung and its in the news that this will be updated to dual core CPU very soon.

The 5 inches Samsung Galaxy Player 70 will now have the specifications of 1 Ghz dual core processor and this upgrade will also add a camera providing a quality of 5 mega pixel. Coming to the specifications of Galaxy Player 70 Plus (the upgraded version will be called as Galaxy Player 70 Plus) coming out with 5 inches TFT LCD display screen with Mobile Digital Natural Imagine engine. The smart player comes with 8 GB of internal flash storage and it can be expanded using the micro SD card slot up to 32 Gb in size. Galaxy S Wi Fi supports the playback of various audio formats like MP3, M4A (AAC, AAC+, eAAC+), AMR (AMR-NB, AMR-WB), WMA, Ogg, WAV, FLAC and video formats MP4, 3GP, AVI (DivX, Xvid), WMV, ASF, H.263/ H.264.
The upgraded version is provided with a camera of 5 mega pixel at the rear side which was missing from the original unlike the Galaxy Player 50 which has 2 mega pixel camera on the rear. This PMP player from the manufacturer of largest mobile giant of South Korea, Samsung is pre loaded with Wi Fi internet access, Bluetooth, educational content, preloaded with ChatOn and Kakao Talk messaging application, FM Radio, T DMB, Gyro sensor and 2500 mAh battery which provides 25 hours of continuous listening time.
This upgraded version improves the Galaxy Player 70 performance. Coming to the internet access via Wi Fi this supports two frequency bands i.e., dual band Wi Fi wireless internet access. Also the 5 inches screen is best for internet usage and various other applications for the students such as blackboard, mega study, Ebs lectures. This comes with diohdik dictionary which can be used by users to provide various english words meanings. The Smart Edu is the very much advantageous to the student. With the presence of gyro sensor various games like arcade, racing and real time can be enjoyed with a fine grained manipulation. Users can watch movies via Netflix application which comes pre installed. Along with that the Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system provides various capabilities and access to Android Market to download various applications, games, widgets which are of much use to the users.
Samsung during the announcement of this product in South Korea said that the enhanced Galaxy Player 70 Plus is emphasis on learning and messaging services to the consumers. The 16 GB Galaxy Player 70 Plus will be priced at 399,000 won and the 32 GB variant of the same will be priced at 469,000 won. The prices in United States will be $ 356 and $ 418 respectively. This Galaxy Player upgraded version will be made available to the users by the end of March in Korea and in April in various parts of the world.
