Samsung Galaxy devices are always awesome. Many in number, and most of them have their own unique and best features to be called smarter and better than their competition. Samsung is one of those brands which doesn’t stop itself from making stuff that would keep users interested in exploring them and keep trying them out. One of these which we learned about, is the Samsung Mobile Beam Projector, shaped just like a mobile phone but is just a projector that can be connected to most of the Samsung Galaxy phones, tablet devices and the laptops or PCs.
The Mobile Beam Projector, with the code EAD-R10 has a size smaller to one of the best Galaxy phones, the Samsung Galaxy S3, but it isn’t any different in design as it looks like a mobile phone, with one of the sides having the projector lens. The only requirement for the device is that it should have the HDMI port and compatibility, and as soon as its connected to the device, the detection is done automatically.
The projector is going to have a 1650 mAh battery which is good enough to project the content for 2 hours when the brightness is at maximum, at 20 lumens. This shouldn’t be really enough because one cannot have the device on a continuous charge while working on some presentations and projecting it continuously for hours. But there is an option, where if you have a large screen you can connect the Projector to the screen to stream the content on the screen directly.
The projector can project the content at 640 x 360 pixel nHd resolution. The dimensions of the projector are 116mm x 60.4mm x 12.2mm, and there are sockets for the HDMI in and out, and a 5-point charging socket all on one side, while other side has the lens of the projector. There is a tiny speaker too present, along with a focus control button.
According to the information that is available as of now, Samsung has been working on this mini projector since October, and the date for the announcement and availability is not given by the company, but there are talks that Samsung could be releasing this product only for the Korean market and that could be a disappointment if Samsung doesn’t do an International launch with it.
As soon as we find any official announcement from Samsung or any leaked information from the sources, we would update you but as of now, you can keep yourself excited for something unique and new in the range of Galaxy products from Sammy.
