Sharp has officially announced its AQUOS Xx 304SH Smart phone to arrive on carrier SoftBank in Japan. This device has a metal-frame body and in spite of this the device weights just 137 grams. The device has a compact body giving a screen to body ratio of 79% making it and ultra thin bezel device. It has a 13 MP camera at the rear and a 2.1 MP camera at the front.
AQUOS Xx 304SH flaunts a 5.2 inch 1080p touch screen display and will be running on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System out of the box. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AB) quad core Krait 400 processor clocking at 2.3 GHz coupled with Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. To power the device there is a 2,600 mAh battery on the back but the company did not reveal the standby time of it.
The AQUOS Xx 304SH has a 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash and also has a 2.1 MP front facing camera. The on-board memory of the device is at 32 GB that can further be extendable up to 128 GB via micro SD card slot. The connectivity of the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and infrared connectivity. Moreover this device is IPX5 and IPX7 certified for dust and waterproof.

The device will be going on sale by the end of May this year in Japan and it is not sure if the company will be rolling out this device out of Japan. The pricing of the device is also not yet mention and it will be interesting to see how the company prices it.
