Skytex SkyPad Omega & Argos Tablets Launched at $199

Skytex launches two new tablets in which are powered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Skytex also made an announcement that they will also update their existing SkyPad Alpha 2 tablet with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich overlay.

Skytex SkyPad Omega and Argos are the two tablets been showcased at the CES 2012. Coming to the specifications of those tablets it will be powered with single core processor clocked at 1.2 Ghz and include Mali 400 graphic support for 1080p HD video playback. Both the tablets will have 8 GB of inbuilt storage capacity and will come with capacitive touchscreen display panels.

The SkyPad Omega is 8 inches tablet providing a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels whereas Argos will be a 7 inches tablet with 1024 x 600 pixels display. This is not just a normal tablet and it has one unique feature which separates it from all other tablet existing in the market, even Apple iPad didn’t achieved it. It comes with removable battery back panel but battery isn’t accessible. The point here is that it is useful to slap a different cover with different color.
