Today, Sony announced a new smartphone in India. Sony Xperia XZ will go on sale from 10 October and pre-order will start from 1 October. Xperia XZ priced at INR 49,990. It will be available on Amazon India exclusively. Although it will be available on Sony outlets as well in India. The smartphone was announced at IFA this year. The Xperia XZ comes with new kind of trademarked Aluminium material called ALKALEIDO which is told to be extremely smooth and it gives a premium feel.

The Xperia XZ is IP65/68 rated that means it is water and dust resistant. Talking about the specification of the new smartphone it comes with a 5.2-inch IPS full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has Snapdragon 820 chipset on board along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Memory can be expanded further upto 256GB via an SD card.
Not only that Sony also launched a dual-SIM variant of Xperia XZ with 64GB internal storage. It has hybrid SIM card slot.Smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Talking about connectivity, it has USB Type-C support, Bluetooth, LTE, GPS. Apart from that it also comes with a fingerprint scanner which is integrated into the power button. Smartphone powered by a 2900mAh battery.
Talking about photography, new Xperia XZ sports a 23MP IMX300 sensor with triple sensing autofocus. The front facing camera is 13MP. With the rear camera, one can shoot 4K videos along with slow motion videos.
