After the launch of several Xperia series smart phones, Sony today announced NSZ GS7 Internet Player with Google TV. Remember Sony came out with at TV box back in January 2012 at Consumers Electronics Show? We know that Samsung is also working on Google TV to rival Sony while LG has launched 3D enabled Google TV.

The NSZ GS7 Sony’s Google TV Set top box makes your TV a digital touch with instant access to your live TV shows, streaming content, made for TV apps and browsing via Google Chrome.
This is compatible with various HD TV’s available under Sony brand like BX450 Series, EX 640 series, HX 750 series, BX 330 series and in all the Sony HD TV’s launched in 2012 with 46 inches or larger screen.
With it, as there is Google Play Store you can download thousands of applications just like you can find it on your smart phone. A host of various TV apps such as Netflix for renting movies, Pandora, Twitter, Plex are pre-installed on it. The remote control is with large touchpad keys along with full QWERTY layout keypad with good gaping between each of them.
This will go on for sale from July 22 at a retail price of $ 299. It will go on sale from July 22 and the pre order of this are available at the official Sony’s site. It would be launched in various countries which includes UK. Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, and Mexico following in June 2012. Sony also claimed that they would be releasing Blue ray version of the same in various countries.
