Spice has launched its smartphone Dream Uno Mi-498H,a Hindi version of the recently launched Android One from Google today. This samrtphone features for the first time ever a complete Hindi keyboard, voice input along with Hindi versions of popular Google products such as Android OS, Chrome, Search, YouTube and Google Maps amongst other popular applications.
You can download Google Hindi Input from the Play store, and you can start typing from your Hindi and Transliteration (Hinglish) keyboards. Integrated with the Google Hindi Input keyboard, the Spice Dream Uno H supports both Hindi and Indian English voice input, so now you can give voice commands in hindi to your phone. You can search all your favourite music videos, TV shows, programs in Hindi.The Spice Android One Hindi also features exclusive Hindi applications such as Aajtak, Sony live, Hungama, Spice Cloud, Google Translate and Google Hindi Input.
Dream UNO Mi-498h sports an 11.3 inch IPS display this device from Spice comes with the 1.3GHz of Quad Core Mediatek processor along with the IPS LCD FWVGA screen. Unlike XiaoMi’s Qualcomm processor, this one comes with the Mediatek processor. With a thickness of 9.15mm thickness, this device comes with the Mali 400 MP GPU as well. In terms of memory, this device comes with the 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of external SD card slot.
Along with the Kitkat 4.4.4 Android OS, this device also comes with the other connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, A-GPS and WIFI capabilities along with the 3.5mm headset audio jack. In terms of camera, this device comes with the 5MP of rear facing camera along with the 2MP of front facing camera.The device is equipped with a 1700 mAh Li-polymer battery offering a standby time of up to 160 hrs and a talk time of up to 1020 min (2G) and up to 620 min (3G).
Dream UNO Mi-498H has been priced at Rs 6499/-.The smartphone has been especially designed for the 300 million Hindi speaking people focusing on states such as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and the rest of the country.This smartphone will be available in all major retail outlets, unlike the original Android One device which was exclusively availabe on Flipkart.
