Sprint was looking like the only competitive network provider which hadn’t come up with any availability details of the LG G2 device, but finally the press release from them is out, with the October 11 as the date for the start of the pre-ordering of the LG G2 smartphone, with the innovative design and the advanced technology and specs.
The press release reads βin time for the holidays.β for the launch of the device, but the pre-order would start from Oct 11th, where the device would be available for $199.99 on contract of 2 years. Furthermore, the customers who pre-orders the device before the launch, would be getting a Quick Window Case for free, and the case retails for the price of $49.99.
Unlike the other networks, Sprint hasn’t set or let us know about the shipping date of the LG G2, but as the pre-order date is known, it won’t be more than a couple weeks from there. T-mobile has listed the LG G2 for the price of $99.99 and this is with the 2-year contract, and this along with AT&T would be the first to launch the G2 into the US market.
Although Sprint is quite late now, it is giving something good for it’s customers for their wait if they don’t choose the other network providers. Check out all the details about the LG G2, or read below for the various specs.
The LG G2 comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD IPS display with the screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, internally a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM, an internal storage of 16GB and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The device would be running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, and there’s a battery with 3000 mAh capacity. The interface would be powered by LG’s software enhancements.
The company came up with an innovative design, where the physical keys from the sides have been pushed back to below the rear camera which is the first time for a smartphone.
We had compared the LG G2 and Moto X, and it was the G2 which was clearly better in terms of specs, and even with the locked device pricing because T-mobile has it for $100, and even on the other carriers, the price of $200 is the same where the LG G2 would be the final choice, if you aren’t a fan of personalization but of the specs.
