Philips is back in action in smart televisions as well. Philips has just announced the lineup of android smart televisions which comes with the curved displays. The reason on why we are speaking about these televisions out here because of the presence of android element in these TVs. Philips 8900 and Philips 9100 are the two android based TVs which are announced and seems to offer a serious tough to the curved televisions which are launched by LG / Samsung. Specs and Features of Philips 8900:                                                                 
Philips 8900 comes with the 55 inches of curve screen and also brings in the smart TV features along with the Google PLAY Store access which provides the user to access games, apps and other content specially designed for televisions. This TV uses the three-sided Ambilight and micro dimming to adapt the viewing experience to your room, along with a 1,000 Hz refresh rate, high-quality upscaling and a curved “ribbon” stand which creates a truly awesome ambience for your TV viewing.
