The Pune-based smartphone company, Swipe technologies has launched low-cost smartphones with impressive specifications with its main target towards the youth. Recently, the company has officially launched a pocket-friendly Limited Edition smartphone called as Swipe Konnect 5.1. The smartphone features Sandstone Black finish and is priced at Rs. 3,999. It comes with all the basic specification required in a smartphone and is available for purchase online exclusively via Snapdeal.

Talking about the specifications, the Swipe Konnect 5.1 flaunts a 5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display offering a pixel density of 196ppi with Vi-Di technology for brighter and vivid experience. Under the hood, it packs unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. The smartphone runs on older Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box that will be further upgraded to Android 5.1 Lollipop in coming days.
On the camera part, the smartphone sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers. The device supports dual sim dual standby and comes with basic connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset powers a 3000mAh battery that can deliver upto 15 hours of talk time and upto 200 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the device measure 144 x 73 x 9.8 mm and weighs around 156 grams. The Konnect 5.1 lacks 4G-LTE support which we cannot even expect in the smartphone at this price tag.
