Top 3 – 2K Display Android SmartPhones you Should Buy

We have seen Smartphones with FHD display earlier. It all started with WVGA displays, but now we are having display with 4K display in the market for some Smart TV’s and we can expect it to come on to the smartphones very soon. For now its 2K display that we have seen on few flagship device of last year and Chinese Smartphone maker –Vivo came up with the first 2K display on its device named as Vivo Xplay3S. And later it was followed by LG’s G3 on its 5.5 inch display. We would like to come up with the top 3 Android Smart Phones with 2K display and will give detailed information of the same. Apart from these there are few other smartphones with 2K display, incase if you want to check them out. They are Oppo Find 7, Vivo Xplay3S, Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The South Korean Giant has always been on the list of big Smart Phones and this time it’s a device from its Note series. And YES! It’s the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that has come with a 2K display. Apart from this, Samsung also pushed the 2K display on the Galaxy Note Edge device, which came with a edged screen on the right that give you the accesses to various app directly.

Coming to the Note 4, it comes with same 5.7 inch display that we have seen in its predecessor Galaxy Note 3, but the resolution has been rocketed to 2560 x 1440 pixels on its Super AMOLED screen. Apart from that the device is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 / Exynos 5433 processor as it comes in two different variants for different locations. The device comes in 32/64 GB variant that can be further extended up to a maximum of 64 GB via microSD card slot, and there is also a 3GB RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes out of the box with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and will be getting the Lollipop update. As all the devices in the Note series, even this device come with the S-Pen features along with the stylus. On the rear, there is a 16 MP camera with dual LED flash and it is also capable of recording 4K videos.

Motorola Nexus 6

Motorola Nexus 6 is the successor of the LG Nexus 5 that made a huge buzz in the market last year. Google has partnered with LG to make the Nexus 5, but this time Motorola seizes t the opportunity to make the Nexus 6 Smartphone. Motorola was acquired by Google few days earlier, and all the Motorola devices were getting the Stock Android from Google. The design of Nexus 6 was similar to the flagship model Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen, but the internal specifications are very different.

The Motorola Nexus 6 comes with a massive 5.96 inch AMOLED display, with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Its massive size might have attracted many people but it also lost many of its admirers, and I am one of them. Devices with 5.3 inch to 5.5 inch is acceptable, but anything over that is little tough to handle with one hand.

This Smart Phone is powered with a Quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with a clocking speed of 2.7 GHz and it is coupled with Adreno 420 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. There is a 13 MP camera on the rear, and it is accompanied with a 2 MP camera on the front. The rear camera is also capable of taking 4K videos, and there is dual LED supporting this camera. To power the device there is a 3220 mAh battery on the back of the device that should be good enough to power this enormous device.

LG G3

LG G3LG G3 was only the second device to feature the 2K display after the Oppo Vivo Xplay3S. This device is the flagship model of LG currently and will run Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box and will be getting the latest lollipop update very soon. Following the success of the LG G2, LG G3 came with the similar kind of design as there are no physical buttons on the front side of the device as we can find them on the back. Although many had an issue with this type of rear mounted buttons, this time, LG made sure that the buttons will be pushed inside.

LG G3 comes with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolutions on its 5.5 inch True HD IPS LCD screen. And is powered with Qualcomm MSM8975AC 801 Quad core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. The device comes with an onboard memory of 16 GB that can be further extended up to a maximum of 128 GB via microSD card slot. There is a 13 MP laser autofocus camera on the rear that is capable of taking 4K videos like most of the flagship models.
