Ulefone is a small Chinese smartphone manufacturer that is known for making high-end smartphones at affordable prices. Today, the company has officially announced its new flagship smartphone called as Ulefone Be Touch 3 in China. The design of the new smartphone mostly resembles the earlier launched Be Touch 2, and also comes with similar specifications as its predecessor with slight modifications.
Regarding specifications, the Be Touch 3 flaunts a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD IPS display with 2.5D arc glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT-6753 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz paired with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. The device comes with 16GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded upto 64GB using a microSD card slot.
On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports a 13MP Sony IMX214 4th generation camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP front-facing (OmniVision OV5648) camera to capture perfect selfie images. The device supports dual sim dual standby and includes standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
The smartphone features a metal-styled frame around the sides giving it a premium look and feel. The Be Touch 3 features the most advanced 360-degree rotation fingerprint scanner in its home button, which comes with Press Touch ID and scans your impressions in just 0.1 to 0.5 seconds.The scanner also works with the wet fingers.
It comes backed by a 2550 mAh battery with quick charge support that can juice up the battery to 35% in just 15 minutes of charge. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and will be available in Metal Grey and Silk White color variants. Its dimensions measure 158.1 x 77.4 x 8.60 and weigh around 160 grams. The Be Touch 3 is priced at $199.99 and will be available in the market soon.
