Procedure to Unlock the Boot loader of HTC Rezound:
- Download the HTC Rezound Package from here to your computer. Once you download the same, extract so as to get the below mentioned files. Please note that even if a single file is missing, you need to again download and extract the files.
- Now from the extracted files, you will have to open “adb” as well as “fastboot” self executable files so that the same can installed in your computer.
- Once the process is completed, you will then have to open the “unlocker v1.8 By Fenguepay” file in the computer and then connect your phone to the computer with the help of original USB cable. As soon as the phone is connected, you need to press enter so as to root the same.
- Once the rooting process is done, you will then have to disconnect the device and then there you go, you have now successfully rooted your device.
Note: At any point of time just in case if the process of rooting gets stopped due to any reason, all you need to do is restart the process from the start by re inserting the battery. Also, ensure that you are restoring the backup if any data is lost like APN Settings etc.
