Guide to Update Galaxy GRAND I9082 with XXAMC8 Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware:
- Download XXAMC8 Jellybean Firmware Package for Galaxy GRAND I9082 and Odin from here to your computer. Once downloaded, extract both these files preferably to the desktop.
- Open Odin in your computer and turn off your Galaxy GRAND so that it can be entered in the Download Mode.
- Download mode in Galaxy Grand I9082 can be entered by pressing Volume down Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button after which a green robot will be shown indicating the Download Mode has been entered.
- Once the device is entered in the Download Mode, connect your device to the computer and then you will see that the ID : COM section will turn Yellow so as to make sure that all the drivers are installed successfully.
- Click on “PDA” to select the .tar file which you will get from the extracted firmware zip file to click on “Start”. It will take around 3 -4 minutes for applying the update. Once the update is applied successfully, the phone will be rebooted automatically.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
