How to Update Galaxy Tab 750 10.1″ to XWKG9 Firmware Version

Procedure to update Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 with Honeycomb 3.1 XWKG9 Update:

  • Now, you need to extract the contents of the zip file which you have downloaded to your desktop. Please note that in the due course of extracting the zip file, you will be asked to enter the password. The password you need to enter is “androidadvices.com” without the inverted comas. As soon as the files are extracted, you need to match the same from the below shown screenshot, if all the files are matched then that means that all the files are successfully downloaded and are unzipped.

  • Now once the files are downloaded successfully, you will now have to turn off the device so that you can then enter into the download mode. The download mode can be entered successfully by holding the volume down button you will have to switch ON the device.
  • As soon as the download mode is entered, you will have to open the Odin flash tool in your computer after which you need to connect your Galaxy Tab 750 in the download mode to the computer. You now need to connect the Galaxy Tab 750 with the help of the USB cable with the computer while the Odin is opened in the computer.
  • At this point of time, in Odin you will see that the ID : COM section will turn yellow which means that all the necessary drivers are successfully installed in the computer and you are now all set to update the device. If the ID : COM section doesn’t turn yellow, then its not recommended to proceed till the section is turned yellow.
  • Now, when you have connected the phone in the download mode ON to the computer, you now will have to select the files in the Odin flash tool as per the below mentioned one.

Note : Please note that att his point of time you ensure that in Odin, no options are changed or modified and strictly the “Re – Partition” option should be UNTICKED.

  • Once you finish checking that the file is correctly selected, you will now have to click on the “Start” option which will start the procedure of firmware update and will take a minimum of 3 – 10 minutes depending on the firmware you are on. As soon as the firmware updation is finished, the device will be restarted.
  • At this point of time ensure that you are not interrupting the process of the firmware update as just in case if it gets interrupted on its own then you need to pull off the battery and then you will have to start the whole procedure from the start by following the above instructions.
  • You will see that the device now will be rebooted after which it may now prompt you to select the language settings after which it may ask you to enter your Google Account credentials so that you can then access your Gmail as well as the Android Market Place.

Note: Please note that after clearing the cache you will have to reconfigure the APN settings after updating the firmware to access the data services and the Internet services as all the Internet APN settings will be reset. You will have to contact your Service provider to get more info on the APN Settings. Not to forget also configure the MMS Settings.
