Procedure to Update at&t One X with Magnolia Custom ROM Firmware:
- Download Root Checker app from Google PLAY Store and check whether your device is rooted or not, as this can only be applied on the rooted phones.
- Now, download Magnolia Custom ROM Firmware package from here to your computer and once downloaded, connect your phone with the computer and place the same in your device’s internal memory. Once copied, you can disconnect the device and turn off the same so that it can be entered in the recovery mode via boot loader mode.
- The Boot loader mode in HTC One X can be entered by pressing Volume UP Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. If the phone boots in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the boot loader mode.
- Now, in the boot loader mode, you need to select “recovery” so as to enter into the recovery mode. In recovery mode, select Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition for clearing all the cache data.
- Once done, you need to select the option of “Go Back” and select “reboot system now”.
- Up next in the recovery mode, select install zip from sd card, then select choose zip from sd card. Scroll down to the Magnolia Custom ROM Firmware on the SD card and select the same.
Tip: If your HTC One X refuses to boot up or say gets into the boot loop mode, then you need to re apply the whole process from the start so as to make sure that the device is updated with this firmware.
