Procedure to Update HTC Sensation XL with Insanely Cool Sense ROM:
- Download the Insanely Cool Sense ROM Firmware Package (Alternate Link) & Wipe Package from here to your computer and then connect your phone to the computer to place the zip file in your phone’s SD Card.
- Now, turn Off the device so that it can be entered in the boot loader mode.
- The Boot loader mode in HTC Sensation XL can be entered by pressing Volume UP Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. If the Sensation XL boots in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the recovery mode.
- In the boot loader mode, you need to select “recovery” so as to enter into the recovery mode. Now, in the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the Wipe package first and then followed by which you need to select Insanely Cool Sense ROM Zip file which is placed in the phone.
- Once the device is updated successfully, the phone will be landing back to the recovery mode screen. Please note that the whole process may take around 5 – 10 minutes for applying this update. After this from the recovery mode, you need to select“++++ Go Back ++++” > “reboot system now” to reboot the phone. Please note that it will take more than normal time
