Procedure to Update HTC One X with Clean ROM 3.1 Custom ROM Firmware:
- Download the Clean ROM Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place the downloaded zip file in your device. Ensure that you are not placing the file deep into the device.
- The Boot loader mode in HTC One X can be entered by pressing Volume UP Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. If the phone boots in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the boot loader mode.
- Now, in the boot loader mode, you need to select “recovery” so as to enter into the recovery mode. In recovery mode, select Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition.
- Select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then select the Clean ROM 3.1 Custom ROM Firmware which you have placed in your phone. Once the file is selected, it will take around 3 – 4 minutes. Once the process is done, it will then reboot the device automatically. If the phone doesn’t reboot automatically and land up in the recovery mode, you need to select “reboot system now” for rebooting the device.
Note: Just in case if the device booted up or gets into the boot loop mode then you need to re follow the above mentioned steps with the help of above mentioned instructions.
