Procedure to Update LG Optimus 3D P920 with ICS Android 4.0 Firmware:
- Download the ICS Android 4.0 Firmware Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place the zip file in your device’s internal sd card.
- Once placing the file, disconnect the device from computer and download the ROM Manager app from the Google PLAY Store to select the option of “reboot into recovery mode” for entering the device in the recovery mode.
- Now, in the recovery mode, select Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe Cache partition and then choose reboot system now to restart the phone and to enjoy this all new firmware. After this you will have to select “install zip from sd card” to select the option of “Optimus 3D ICS Android 4.0 Firmware Package” which you have earlier placed in your device.
- After a period of around 5 – 8 minutes, the firmware update process will be finished and then you will see that the device will be restarted on its own, if not then you need to select “++++ Go Back ++++” to get back to the main menu and then choose to “reboot system now” to restart the phone.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
