Procedure to Update LG Optimus One P500 with V20G Gingerbread 2.3.3:
- Download the Optimus One P500 V20G firmware package from here to your computer and extract the same.
- Once extracted, you now need to run the LGMDP-v1.5.exe file after which you will get the below mentioned pop up.
- Select the PORT, connect your phone and choose your phone. After this, you need to now click on Image folder and then browse to the directory where the file has been unpacked.
- Now, you will have to click on “Ok” for 3 times and you will get the warnings. Please note that you should not mess with any other settings as it if changed it may even brick the device.
- Now, close the Window and click on the “Download” button. In the process of updating, it will back up your IMEI and MACs to .NV2 file, reboot your phone to emergency mode, flash recovery, reboot and restore the NV2 backup.
- It will take around 5 – 6 minutes to update the device and once it’s done the device will be restarted.
Note: Just in case if the device booted up or gets into the boot loop mode then you need to re follow the above mentioned steps with the help of above mentioned instructions.
