Procedure to Update LG Optimus One P500:
- Before proceeding, you first need to download the LG UMTS Setup Tool from here and then you need to extract the same to your desktop. After this go to the “LGDP2_31_INCLUDE_LGDP1_Setup” folder and install the executable file. Up next, copy all the files from the Download folder and then paste the same to the path “C:\DOWNLOAD” If it asks you to overwrite, go ahead with the same as from this path only it will be recognizing the firmware.
- After this, install the LG United Modem Driver and connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable which you got at the time of purchase. Once you connect he same, all the drivers in the device will be installed successfully.
- Now, download the LG Optimus One P500 Firmware file which will have the extension of DZ along with the correct DLL file for your model from the below mentioned link.

- After this, open the LGDP2_V36_UMTS from C:\DOWNLOAD, select UMTS in Division and click on the “Ok” tab.
- After this you need to select the port number of the device connected to from the Device Manager as shown in the below screen capture for the LG USB Modem so that you can then set the range from the easy select option or else you can select the option manually too. After this, you need to select the firmware in the download configuration and then click on “Ok”. After this Remove the connected phone to the computer and turn off the same to enter into the emergency mode.
- Up next, connect your phone with the help of USB cable in the Emergency Mode. Emergency mode can be entered by “pressing the Volume Up key + Pressing the Back Key and holding these both you need to turn ON the device.
