Procedure to Update Motorola Defy+ with ICS 4.0.4 Firmware:
- Download ICS for Motorola Defy+ & Google Apps from here to your computer from here to your computer.
- Connect your phone to computer and connect your phone to computer. Place the two downloaded zip files in your device’s SD Card. Ensure that you are not placing the file deep into the device.
- Turn Off the device so that the device in the recovery mode. The recovery mode in Motorola Defy can be entered by Pressing and holding the Volume Down button and press the Power button to turn ON the device.
- Up next, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” > ICS 4.0.4 Firmware Package and press the Power button to confirm the same.
- As soon as the update is applied successfully, the device will either come back to the recovery mode screen or you will have to select “++++ Go Back ++++” and choose the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the phone.
Note: Just in a rare event just In case if the Motorola Defy+ gets in the boot loop mode, you need to re insert the battery and then re-apply the whole steps from start so as to apply the firmware again.
