Steps to update your Samsung Galaxy Beam I8520 to DXJG2 Asian Firmware 2.1 version:
- To start the process of firmware updation, just download Galaxy Beam I8520 DXJG2 package and save it on your computer (or Laptop) desktop. After the safe download extract the files form the downloaded zip file. In the process of extracting the files a notification occurs and prompts you to enter the password. So enter ‘androidadvices.com’ as a password and click ok, all the files will be extracted now.
- The extracted file will look same as given in the screenshot below. So, now once check all the extracted files and compare them with the screenshot. If you found any of the missing file then download the file again and extract them at the same location i.e. on your desktop.
- Now, open the Odin flash tool from the extracted files and run it on your computer. We use this Odin tool in order to apply the firmware update. Turn OFF your phone now and be ready for the next step.
- Again turn ON your phone and enter into the downloading mode. To enter into the downloading mode, just press volume DOWN key and OK button along with the Power button simultaneously. Refer to below video to know how to turn ON your phone in the downloading mode.
