Enhancements in XXKPK 2.3.3 Firmware update Release:
- Though this update is the beta firmware release, there will be some bugs which will be random but are not the ones which are the major ones. There are quite a few enhancements which this version of firmware comes with which are :
- This version of Gingerbread 2.3.3 XXKPK now comes with the optimizations with which you will not get the “phone.apk.android” force closing which generally comes when the dialer is opened. - The quadrant speeds have been substantially improved and also the user interface is now much speedier than before. This update is considered as the major update with almost all the fixes in the Gingerbread 2.3.3 family.
- Slower downloads in the Android Market Place followed by the double download error from the Market place has now been solved with the arrival of this version.
Procedure to install XXKPK 2.3.3 Gingerbread version on Galaxy Gio:
- After downloading the XXKPK 2.3.3 Gingerbread version of the firmware from here by the mentioned link to your desktop, you will have to proceed for the extraction of the zip file right on your desktop.
- As soon as you proceed to extract the zip file which can be done by right clicking on the Zip file and then choosing the “Extract Files” option after which you will be required to select the path as “desktop”.
- Once this option is selected, you will be asked to enter in the password. At this point of time, you need to enter the password as “androidadvices.com” without the inverted comas.
- Once the password is entered correctly and clicked on “Ok”, the extraction process of the files will begin and will be completed successfully within a minute after which the extracted files will look like the one which is mentioned in the below screen shot.
- Please note that just in case if there are any files which are mentioned above, then that means that the extraction or download was not successful and you again will have to look out on where you did a mistake as sometimes users mistakenly selects the selected files and extracts the same while extraction. You will have to extract all files from the downloaded zip.
