Procedure to update Galaxy S GT I9000 with Block Buster 5.5:
- Before you proceed, you need to first up download Blockbuster 5.5 ROM in your computer. It’s recommended to place this file on your desktop once you finish downloading as it will be easier to locate the same. We just hope that you have followed the Pre Upgrade instructions carefully which are mentioned in the previous page.
- Now, once the file is placed on the desktop, you now have to connect your phone with the computer with the help of the USB cable so that you can move this zip file as it is to the phone.
- In the due course of placing the file in the phone, ensure that you are not placing the zip file deep inside the phone or inside any files or else there is a high probability that you may end up not finding the zip file in the recovery mode.
- After this, remove the USB cable which connects to the computer and turn Off the phone. Up next, you need to boot your phone in the recovery mode, to boot the phone in the recovery mode. The recovery mode can be entered by pressing the Volume Down Key + Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. Additionally, you can also refer to a short video where we have shown on how you can enter easily into the recovery mode on your Samsung Galaxy S GT I9000.
- Now, in the recovery mode, you will have to go to the option “install zip from SD card” which you can go by selecting the Volume up / down key and can select the option by pressing the Power button which is there on the right hand side of the phone. As soon as you select the option, you will no need to choose the option of “choose zip from SD CARD” after which it will show all the zip files which are present in your phone along with other files. But from the list of files, you need to select the file which is named as “Blockbuster_5.5_wipe.zip”.
