Procedure to update Galaxy S GT I9000 with Xtra Long Battery Amestris ROM:
- Now, before proceeding, you need to download the Amestris 3.5 Zip File in your computer which you need to move the same in your phone. As soon as you finish downloading this file, you need to now connect your phone to the computer with the help of USB cable and need to place this downloaded file without renaming or modifying it in your phone.
- After placing the file in your phone, you need to turn Off your phone so that you can then enter your phone in the recovery mode. To enter into the recovery mode, in the power Off mode press Volume Down Key + Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button.
- Once you enter into the recovery mode, you will have to now choose the option of “install zip from SD card” and then “choose zip from sdcard” after which it will show all the zip files which are present in your phone along with other files. But from the list of files, you need to select the file which is named as “Amestris_Version3.5.zip”. Please note that the below image is just shown as a reference.
- As soon as you select the file, you will see that the device will take some time to update he files and after sometime the device will be rebooted within a time of 15 minutes. Please ensure that in this process of applying update you don’t interrupt this process of updating.
