Procedure to apply Arabic Gingerbread JPKI1 2.3.4 in Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100:
- After downloading the Arabic Gingerbread JPKI1 2.3.4 Zip file to your computer, you will now need to unzip the same. Please note that in the process of unzipping you will be prompted to enter the password, the password is “androidadvices.com” without the inverted comas. As soon as you enter the password, the files will be extracted successfully.
- Now, you will need to match that the files which are downloaded are complete from the below mentioned screenshot. Please note that even if one file is missing then you will have to download the zip file again from the above mentioned link.
Once it’s done, you will now have to turn Off the Galaxy S2 so that you can then enter into the download mode. The download mode can be entered by pressing down on Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. You can also refer to the video below to know more on how you can enter into the download mode easily. Please note that if the device boots up in the normal mode then you need to repeat the whole process till you get into the download mode as this acts as a safe mode for your phone.
- Now, keeping the Odin opened in the computer, you will need to connect the phone to the computer with the help of the USB cable. Once you connect he phone, you will see that all the drivers will be loading up and as soon as the driver loading is done with, the ID : COM section in the Odin will turn yellow which will mean that all the drivers have been successfully installed and you are now all set to proceed with the loading of the files which is mentioned din the next step.
- Now, you need to choose the files by clicking on the respective tabs as mentioned below, you need to select files from the extracted folder which was explained in the first step.

Upon selecting the files as per the above selections, you need to double check the same and after ensuring that all the files are correctly installed, you will now have to proceed to click “Start” tab in the Odin.
Once you click on the same, the firmware application process will be started and then you will see that after a time of 3 – 4 minutes the phone will be restarted which means that the firmware has been successfully applied.
Now it will prompt you to select the language and then followed by which you also will have to enter the Google Account credentials after which you will be able to access the Gmail as well as the Android Market Place.
Next up is you will have to turn off the phone so that you can enter into the recovery mode. The recovery mode can be entered by pressing Volume UP on Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. In recovery mode, you will have to select Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition and then reboot your device by selecting reboot system now option. Please note that you will have to ensure that you don’t select any other options or else there is a high probability that you may end messing up with your phone.
So, as soon as you are done with the clearing off the things which are mentioned in the recovery mode, you will now need to restart the phone and Bingo, you are now ready with the upgraded version of Arabic Gingerbread JPKI1 2.3.4. You can also check that whether the firmware has been successfully updated or not from the path of “Applications > Settings > About Phone ” where you will see that you are on Gingerbread JPKI1 2.3.4 version of the firmware.
