- Download the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 version firmware Package in your computer and then you need to copy the same to your phone’s SD card and not deep into the folders. You can copy the file by connecting the USB cable which you got at the time of purchase.
- So, now once you have finished rooting your phone and copying the ICS Zip Package to your phone, you now need to proceed to download and install the ROM Manager from the Android Market Place.
- Now, open the ROM Manager application from the list of applications and tap on the Flash Clock Work mod Recovery. Once you are done with it, you now need to turn off the phone so that you can get into the recovery mode.
- The recovery mode can be entered by pressing the Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. You can also refer to the video below to know more on how you can enter into the recovery mode. If the phone boots in the normal mode then you need to try entering again into the recovery mode.

- From the recovery mode, select “install zip from SD card” which you can select by using the Volume selection keys and Power button. After this you will have to choose the option of “choose zip from SD Card” and select the file named as “”. Once you select the file, the process of firmware update will be started and once its finished, the phone will be rebooting on its own.
Please note that at this point of time, don’t interrupt the process of the firmware process or else it may even brick the pone. Just in case if you again land up on the recovery screen after completion of the process, select “Go Back” and choose “reboot system now” to reboot the phone.
