Follow these Instructions before updating your Galaxy Tab to ZSKH5 Honeycomb 3.1:
- First of all make a backup for your data on the Tab, because once you finish the process of updation all the data in the Tab will erases. Generally, data includes your messages, contacts, music files, pictures etc. So, it is the user‘s responsibility to make a better backup for all the data. Save all your images, music files, and videos on the external SD Card.
- Now make a note of the APN & MMS settings. Users most often complain that after the updation process, they are unable to access the internet and MMS services. But, we always mentions that you need to make a note of APN and MMS settings in order to get access to those services. So, it is again the user’s responsibility to make a note of these settings. Note APN & MMS settings from this path: “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
- Next make sure that your Tab has a battery charging more than 90% as the process of firmware update eats away all your battery charge very soon and due to this the process will end up. So, in order to avoid the interruption due to the battery charge you should have a good battery life and so we always advises you to maintain up to 90% battery life in the process of firmware updation.
Basic instructions:
- Users should have a PC or Laptop with Windows 7/XP/Vista OS installed. Also ensure that it supports USB 2.0 ports and additionally you should have the ADMIN privileges.
- Turn OFF all your antivirus solutions and firewalls and make sure that KIES is also in OFF stage.
