Procedure to install Honeycomb in Vodafone Galaxy Tab:
- After downloading the latest version of Honeycomb flash kit in your computer you will have to ensure that you copy the same to your desktop and not to any other location as it will be difficult to get located. After this you will have to extract the same to the desktop in one folder. Please note that in the process of extraction if it prompts you to enter the password then enter the password as androidadvices.com.
- As soon as you unzip the zip file you will see that in all there will be 4 files which are the Odin, Bootloader file, PDA File and modem file. After unzipping the files you will see all the files as shown in the below screen shot. Just in case if any file is missing then you will have to download the same again.
- Now, you will have to click on the Odin tool so as to open the same as shown in the below screen shot but also you will now have to put your Galaxy Tab in the download mode, the download mode can be entered by pressing the volume down button first followed by the Volume up key and then power the device to enter in to the download mode. Please note that just in case if the device doesn’t get turn on in the download mode then you will have to repeat the process till you get into the download mode.
