Videocon has earlier launched its first budget 4G-LTE smartphone called as Videocon Infinium Z55 Krypton in India priced at Rs. 7,999. Now, it seems like the brand is gearing upto launch yet another affordable 4G-LTE enabled smartphone called as Videocon Krypton V50FG in India. The smartphone comes with decent budget specifications and will be targeted towards the youth. The handset is currently listed on the company’s official website with complete details and is expected to go on sale in the country soon.

Talking about the specifications, the Videocon Krypton V50FG flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS 2.5D curved display offering a pixel density of 294ppi, and Asahi Dragontrail Glass laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, the device comes equipped with 64-bit MediaTek MT6735V quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM for lag-free performance. It supports dual sim dual standby and includes standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port.
The device comes with 16GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB. On the photographic section, the smartphone is equipped with a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and stunning selfie images. The handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI out of the box, and there is no information about the latest Android Marshmallow update.
The smartphone comes with pre-loaded apps like V-Safe, V-Secure, Gameloft Games, Opera Mini and EROS Now with free six months subscription. The handset comes backed by a 2200mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 6 hours of talk time and upto four days of standby time. The dimensions of the device measure 144.6 x 71.8 x 8.6 mm and will come in Black with Gold and White with Silver color options.
