Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Leaked Renders Reveal Fingerprint Scanner and Dual-Camera Setup

Xiaomi has launched many handsets this year and are gearing up to release few more devices until the year end. One of the devices expected to be announced, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been leaked for the first time on Chinese social media giant Weibo.

According to leaks, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 the successor to the Mi Note will be a significant upgrade over its predecessor. The leaked images of the device show ultra-slim bezels all around its display, dual-camera setup at the back and a fingerprint scanner embedded in its home button.

In addition to the improved design, the device is expected to feature a 5.7-inch-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display and allegedly come powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM. The phablet is also expected to have 32GB/64GB internal storage, a 23MP rear camera with dual tone dual LED flash and a 12MP front camera for video calling and selfie clicks.

According to the rumors, the device boasts a massive 3500mAh battery with quick charge technology and will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Xiaomi’s new MIUI 7 UI out of the box.

If the rumors are true, then Mi Note 2 with these high-end specifications, attractive design will be a great buy for the Android users. Nothing has been officially confirmed by the Xiaomi on when Mi Note 2 will officially launch, but we can expect the phablet to arrive in the first quarter of 2016.
