
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi launched a new smartphone Redmi 3S Plus in India. The unique thing about this smartphone is that it is a first offline retail only smartphone for the Indian market only. Redmi 3S Plus priced at INR 9,499. The smartphone launched under Redmi Series devices. Before it, the company launched Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S prime smartphones.
Redmi 3S Prime is also available with the best buy of INR 8,799. Talking about the specification of this device, it comes with a 5-inch 720×1280 pixel resolution display. The smartphone powered by 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and there is 2GB of RAM onboard. It has 32GB RAM in-built.
On the photography front, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner. It has a 4100mAh battery. This smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box. Talking about the design, it is almost identical as Redmi 3S Prime. In fact, the only difference between these two is 3S plus has slightly less RAM than 3S Prime. Plus has 2GB of RAM while Prime has 3GB of RAM, the other features of both devices are same.
We don’t know why company launched a new device with same specifications and lesser RAM. It’s a welcome move that finally company launched a device with offline availability. The company is also working on establishing its retail stores all over the country.
