Xolo has launched a new budget smartphone, the Xolo Era. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 4,444 and will be available in Black colour variant. The smartphone registrations will start on Thursday and will be exclusively available on Snapdeal.
The Xolo Era features a 5-inch IPS display with an FWVGA (480×854 pixels) resolution and a pixel density of 196ppi. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat-based and supports dual-SIM,
The handset also features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.The smartphone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Xolo Era is backed by a 2100mAh battery.
Connectivity options of the Xolo Era include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0, USB-OTG and GPS/ A-GPS. The smartphone would come with a USB-OTG cable and back cover.
Xolo also launching the first ‘Black’ Premium smartphone later this week on July 10. It has tied up with Vodafone, and the Xolo Black will be on display at Vodafone India stores across the country. The Black will boast a dual-camera setup at the back with fast focus capabilities, and it is also expected to feature a thin profile, a glass rear panel, smudge-free display, 4G LTE support, and run on the new Hive 1.5 UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
