Xolo has listed a new Q series Android phone on their official website, and are soon going to launch the Xolo Q900 Android smartphone with a very decent list of specifications. The Q900 is listed with the price of Rs. 12,999 and for that pricing, the smartphone is quite excellent with the features that are packed under the hood. The 4.7-inch touchscreen has an HD display, with the 1280 x 720 pixels resolution bringing out the pixel density to 312 PPI.
Under the hood, the Xolo Q900 has got a Mediatek chipset, MTK 6589, with the quad-core processors clocking at 1.2 GHz, and there is 1 GB of RAM embedded along for the multitasking. There is even a 286 MHz PowerVR SGX 544 GPU included along with the processor. The phone would be running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, and the design of it is quite similar to most of the other Android devices from the company. This is a Dual SIM smartphone with the dual standby.
On the rear side, there is a 8-megapixel camera with the BSI sensor and a LED flash, and the camera is capable of recording videos at 1080p Full HD quality. There is a front 2-megapixel camera for the video calling and self captures. Xolo has included a few new features in the interface, one of which is the Quick Access Control, using which the user can access all of their favorite apps in a flash, and just a long press is needed to remove or access the toolbar.
The internal storage provided in the Q900 is 4 GB, while there is an expansion possibility, to a maximum of 32 GB using a MicroSD card. The battery equipped in this, has a capacity of 1800 mAh, and this is said to provide 10 hours and 13 hours of talktime on 3G & 2G networks. The smartphone supports 3G connectivity on both the SIM cards, and the other connectivity options included are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc.
For the price of Rs. 12,999, the Xolo Q900 is a very decent smartphone which can prove to be a better one to other Android smartphones in this price range, from other brands such as Samsung, Micromax, Sony etc.
