Micromax’s new Yu brand of Cyanogen OS-based smartphones was unveiled with the launch of Yu Yureka, last year.
Micromax’s Yu Yureka smartphone features dual-SIM support, with slots for Micro-SIM cards (4G+3G). It bears a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.It runs on a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939), coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Yu Yureka bears a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor rear autofocus camera with an f/2.2 aperture and flash. A front-facing 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera is also on board.
Following is the detailed guide to restore back CyanogenMod 11 Stock ROM
Pre-Requisites
- Backup all the data before proceeding to follow the tutorial factory image fastboot package and extract the contents of the fastboot.zip package to a folder in your PC.
- Download the flashing tools package and extract the contents of “factory-image-flash-tools-windows-flashtools.zip” file into the above extracted factory image folder.
To make sure, check that system.img, boot.img etc files are in the same folder as flash-all.bat, fastboot.exe, etc
Steps to restore back CyanogenMod 11 Stock ROM
- Connect your phone in fastboot mode, steps for which are: –
a. Power off your phone
b. Press and hold the Volume Up key
c. While pressing Volume Up key, connect the phone to your PC/Laptop with USB cable
d. You can let go OFF the Volume Up key when Fastboot Mode is displayed on the screen - Run flash-all.bat by double clicking on it.
- A command window will open, and flashing procedure will start.
- DO NOT disconnect the device during flashing procedure
- The command window will close after the flashing process is over.
- Disconnect the USB cable, and boot the phone normally by long pressing the Power button.
