The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, ZTE has recently launched a new device in its successful Axon line-up called as ZTE Axon Max. The new smartphone is the largest in their Axon range of devices. The Axon Max will be currently available only in China and costs around 2,999 Yuan (approx $460).
The ZTE Axon Max sports premium looks as it is built out of the metal frame and also packs powerful specifications. As touted, the smartphone flaunts a massive 6-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD liquid crystal display offering a pixel density of 367ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by latest 64-bit Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. It is the same processor earlier seen on the recently launched HTC One A9. The device has 32GB of built-in storage and microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, dual tone LED flash and a 13MP front-facing shooter for video chats and crazy selfie lovers. The device supports dual sim dual standby and includes standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.
The device comes with other interesting features like fingerprint sensor, Hi-Fi audio and voiceprint recognition. The handset comes backed by a decent 4140mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day and also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and will be available in Gold color variant. The company did not reveal any details regarding the launch of the Axon Max for other markets.
