ZTE Blade S7 with 13MP Selfie Camera & Fingerprint Scanner is Now Official

ZTE, a global smartphone manufacturer, has recently launched a new smartphone under its Blade series dubbed as ZTE Blade S7. The Blade S7 is the successor to the Blade S6 smartphone that was launched back in January and is an upgrade in every aspect. The ZTE Blade S7 will come in Lemon Green, Rose Gold, Diamond White and Space Gray color options and will be first available for purchase in Thailand, later followed by other Asia-Pacific markets.

Coming to its specifications, the Blade S7 flaunts a 5-inch (1920 x 1080pixels) FHD IPS display offering a pixel density of 445ppi with 2.5D curved glass for better viewing angles. It comes powered by Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage with microSD card slot for further expansion.

On the camera front, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and on the front also it includes a similar 13MP sensor accompanied by an LED flash. Connectivity options on the dual sim capable smartphone include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The Blade S7 sports an iPhone-like design and features a dual glass body surrounded by a metal frame on the sides.

The smartphone also features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the rectangular home button placed on the front side of the device. The handset comes backed by a 2500mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with planned upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the future. To recap, ZTE has recently launched a budget-friendly 4G enabled device called ZTE Mighty 3C priced at $79. The smartphone features 5-inch FWVGA display, Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter, a 2500mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
