ZTE Blade V2 with 5-inch HD Display, 64-Bit SoC Announced: Specs & Details

ZTE has announced a new Blade series smartphone, the ZTE Blade V2. Earlier today, ZTE announced that it is expected to double its profits nearly in 2014. The Chinese telecom equipment maker’s guidance issued for 2014 shows 94.2% higher net profit of 2.64 billion yuan ($424 million).

The single-SIM ZTE Blade V2 feature a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor clocked at 1.2GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.The handset is backed by a 2400mAh battery.

On camera front, the Blade V2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both cameras use a backside-illuminated (BSI) CMOS image sensor. The 8GB of inbuilt storage on the ZTE Blade V2 is expandable via microSD card (unspecified maximum supported capacity).Connectivity options on the ZTE Blade V2 include 4G LTE Cat. 4, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/ A-GPS.

The smartphone has not yet been listed by the company on its website and ZTE is yet to announce the regions where the smartphone will get released, or it’s pricing.
