ZTE Q519T with 4000mAh battery launched in China for $95

ZTE recently launched its Nubia Z9 Mini in India; this is the first Nubia phone to launch in India. The Z9 Mini was priced at Rs. 16,999 and comes with 5-inch FullHD display and 16MP rear camera. It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 SoC and 2GB of RAM. The company today launched a low-end device ‘ZTE Q519T’ in China. It is the successor of previously launched ZTE Q509T. The major manufacturers are now targeting the low-cost segment, which was firstly started with Motorola launching the ‘Moto E’ last year. Huawei also launched the Honor Bee in India for Rs. 4,999.

ZTE Q519T comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720p resolution. There is no Gorilla Glass protection to the display. It is powered by a Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz along with Mali T720MP1 GPU. The device comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with microSD card support (up to 32GB).

It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera. The best part of the $95 smartphone is its battery of 4,000mAh capacity; ZTE mentioned that the battery will deliver up to 35 days on stand-by. The Lenovo K80 also comes with the same 4,000mAh battery but with a price tag of $290 along with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone has the reverse USB charging option to charge other device with it’s huge 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity of the device includes Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, 3G, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. It also comes with the Dual SIM connectivity and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

We don’t have the information about availability of the device outside of China. It will be available in the colours blue, gold and white. If it’s launched in India, it might face a stiff competition from YU Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2 which are priced at Rs. 6,999.
